Danny Basavich Making People Angry

Georgina just interviewed Cory Deuel and he was very diplomatic about his answer when asked about the way Danny plays.

Cory said that Danny mentioned to him that he is fighting for his life and he will take as much of his time to shoot the shot. Cory also mentioned he was entertained by Danny watching that match with Hsia.

I have no comment whatsoever. :)

These slow players learned how to do crimes on humanity in a legally acceptable form.LOL.They are not going to stop that behavior unless pool community treats them like dirt.LOL
I refuse to play slow players and I DO NOT EVEN CARE TO SOCIALIZE with them with only one exception.

Well, I don't think Archer and Souquet are the slowest players any more. Danny should cut the crap about "fighting for his life" and taking as much time to shoot the shot. You don't need lot's of time to shoot a simple three ball runout.

When you see Archer shoot that is an example of a player taking his time to make sure he doesn't make a mistake. Basavich isn't doing this IMO, how long do you have to look at a straight in nine ball before your confident shooting it? Maybe you will get up once if your distracted or something, I hope Danny plays Earl in the KO stages.
 
I tried to watch the streamed Hsia/Basavich match but the connection was screwed up or something. By the way you guys talk it must have been horrible. What is Basavich's record so far?

I believe Danny finished 4-3. That means some unfortunate soul is gonna have to suffer through a KO match with him.

Knowing how he shoots (skillwise) there is a good chance more then 1 person is going to get that privledge. As long as he speeds it up some (and I imagine he will be told to do just that in the KO) he is actually someone I would like to see do well just to hush up the critics abit and prove he can play to everyone.
