danny harriman 280 ball run

Bump

I just spoke to Danny yesterday.

I offered to burn lightscribe inscribed versions of his 280 ball run and distribute them for him and he accepted.

If anyone still wants or needs one of these dvds, paypal me $35 at gwtlaw@aol.com and I will mail you out a dvd.

Hi Dennis, its been a while. Hope all is going well.

Is this the video where he does a voice over and talks about what he was doing or do I have it confused with something else?

Woody- good to hear from you. Yeah, that is the one. He runs 280 and then after, he adds a commentary. Pretty good production values on this one.

He had a problem with the guy who was supposed to be distributing it for him. I offered to make copies of it available and send him the proceeds and he said ok.

Dennis, will you be at Valley Forge, and could i maybe get one there?

i'm about to start acquiring straight pool videos, and hope to decide there how much i can afford to spend on what...

if there's already been a thread on "what are the best straight pool videos" i haven't seen it, but this one looks pretty good from the -- unfortunately few -- seconds of it on youtube.

i will definitely stop by, Steve -- have to pick up the raffle cue i'll be winning... ;)

seriously, can i get the video in question from you? are you and Dennis both in this somehow?

sorry for the n00b questions -- recently back to the game after 4 decades away, and a little out of the loop!

and if anyone can tell me how to turn off the frickin' goofy smilies Permanently that make this site look like it was built for 12 year olds, that would be great.

:/

Bob,

Look forward to meeting you at valley forge, good luck on the raffle you have quite a few others vying for the cue as well. LOL

You will have to hit up Dennis (dmgwalsh) for the Harriman Video, Dennis is the 14.1 Guru around here and he has it all worked out with Danny already on taking care of distribution.

Cya Soon ;);):embarrassed2::p (Smiles for good measure) LOL

Sorry, I won't be at Valley Forge. Sound like a lot going on there especially in the straight pool challenge.

If you want the Danny H 280 all you need to do is get me the money, paypal or mail me a check, and I will mail it to you.

Hi all, I was fortunate enough to be able to pick up a copy of the DVD from Dennis. Sat up last night and watched the whole thing. Very nicely done and has a very personal feel to it (comments from Danny's cat LOL). Great instructional commentary, with some good technique pointers. Makes me want to keep practicing and chalk up some big runs! (yeah right....), Any way, good stuff!
