Dark Morri vs Light Morri - notice the difference?

I've been using Morri tips for close to a year now, and I seem to notice a dramatic difference between the dark colored Morri and the lighter colored. I very much prefer the hit of a light colored Morri.
Am I crazy, or do they really hit different? And does anyone know why?

I agree and I think the lighter 1 is a medium and the darker is harder - (moori Quick?)

I purchased a cue recently from 1 of the better known makers and it was supposed to have a moori medium tip - but it clearly is darker and harder-

is it possible he used what he had on hand?

i just replaced it with a tiger everlast - can't wait to try it.

until now I have always preferred moori - hard to beat the hit of the medium

got a cue with a Tiger soft - almost didn't even hit with it - it hits good and keeps its shape.

maybe something to this "tiger" thing

I think I might experiment with new tips.. I've been using M. Soft lately.
