Yup not far from Atown at all. in fact i go to buzzys in Atown alot to get action. my exact home town is east stroudsburg. so if this is true that darren is moving in the area im sure i would see him around

Your area brings back memories! Back in the day when I thought I could play, I made a mini road trip heading to my sisters in Scranton/Dallas. I stopped in a few rooms on the way.....first place, no action....second place, got chopped up by Dave Daya....third place, ran into Ed Matushonek sp? so, by 11 oclock I was broke! Didn't even get to my sisters, just turned around and went home tail between my legs. :)

I couldn't just run into a banger once for my confidence, you know, for a time I thought EVERYONE up there was a world beater!

One Name: Dave Daya

He lives in Mount Carmel, Pa. I feel that he is the best player in at least the state of Pa, but obviously that notion would be up for debate.....
 
DAZ in A-Town

I heard this rumor a few weeks ago and PM'd Darren through FB. He's been living in Allentown since November. Great place to move for the pool surroundings. Proximity to Philly and VF, of course. NYC isn't outrageously far either. Someone mentioned Davie Daya, he's about an hour west of A-Town and runs hundreds at Ashland Billiards several times/week. North of A-Town has appeal as well. Cosmo's Billiards has a few really strong shooters. Rempe is 20 miles outside of Scranton and stops in at Cosmo's from time to time. It looks like Darren can have games in any discipline within an hour or so in any direction. Sounds like a good place to be.

Not sure any of them will want to play Daz too mucha anything...without a decent spot anyway. They might get some 1p action for a Month, but they better make it quick, before he learns that duck isn't just a bird.
