Darren's 8-ball World Pool Series April 5-8

Chris Melling talks way too much, and way too repetitively, about the players' personalities and shots they already took, and almost none about the layout of the table.
Disagree. Thought Melling's commentary was superb, especially disussing correct patterns to play.

Chris was great! One of, if not the most knowledgeable commentators out there.

When he stays on focus I agree. He's obviously very knowledgeable. But while Jayson was playing bad he talked almost entirely about how loose Jayson was, how he used to play like that himself, how Jayson's dad would say he was playing like rubbish, and then again on how Jayson overran his position, etc etc.

I thought Chris was doing a fine job commentating. Jayson kind of went into I don't care mode and almost came back anyway.

You must have watched a different match than I did

That's fantastic. It gets to hill-hill and the stream ends and starts replaying the match from the beginning.

Seems like the non-Americans like to come here and rag on the Americans on a forum that is frequented by a majority of Americans. I find this in poor taste.

Making sweeping generalisations about 740,000,000 people based on your limited grasp of what's happening here definitely IS in poor taste. The irony of your post is delicious.

Congratulations to the Champion from Albania, who joins the Russian champion of the first event. I'm glad we have English players coming to New York to put on proper tournaments.

Anyone watching the US Masters golf just now?
