Dates for 2016 Verhoeven Open

Can't do it this year, but maybe next. I was in NY a couple of weeks before last year's. One of the places I played at was Bayshore Billiards, and they had already lined up a day where Dick Jaspers was going to come, do an exhibition and clinic and take on all comers. It was ALMOST enough to make me come back. Getting beat 5-0 by Dick Jaspers (or any of the top guys) would definitely go on my life's highlight reel. Maybe next year.
 
I will be attending the tournament this year. I planned to make the 2015 event but was unable to go. I hope the list of players for this year's tournament will be as great as it was last year with almost all of the world's elite in attendance.

I am very excited to see these players in person as compared to seeing them on Kozoom. I can't wait!
 
Mazin Shooni and Sonny Nguyen are helping to get some of the top players from Vietnam to come over for the Verhoeven Open. They are quite talented.

Check out local billiard places in the days right after the event. Bayshore Billiards had a day with Dick Jaspers last year and I think there was a place in NJ who had one of the big guys for a day. I've seen some of the less formal videos on youtube where all time greats are playing a casual match in room with about 20 people and I yearn to be one of those 20 people getting to watch players of that caliber in that setting. It would be like having David Gilmour play guitar in my living room.

They sure are Steve. Also, hopefully we will have some of the Korean players compete. Wasn't there some kind of virus scare in Korea that kept the players from travelling to the Verhoeven Open last year?
 
What patches will be required for vest? Flag?, USBA patch? Location? First tournament. Don't want any surprises. What time is player meeting Mon the 1st.
