David Howard

The next year at JC, No 5'x10' Snooker table!

Sammy never went back!
Sam was undefeated in the old room except for Chenier. Dick Huntsinger remained undefeated in his room in Pensacola …Sam went there and got beat. Freddy Salem challenged them both to play for 20 gs in neutral St Louis…so I’m giving him the 5x10 title by default for America.
Jimmy Moore never got beat by an American on a 6x12.

I knew Freddy well enough to know He would Never play Worst Any game on Any table!

He really played well on the 5'x10' Snooker table at the Rack with 3 reds, but so did Cornbread!

Freddy Salem and Jerry Howard staked the best 3C player (Bob Ameen) in Detroit against me at the Rack, I charged them a little less than a 100K!

But that's another story.

It would’ve been interesting Harold and George Chenier on a 6x12…..George never ducked anyone for that title….he defended it successfully twice in the last two years of his life…….22 years he held the title.

Freddy beat Cornbread at 5x10 snooker…..but Freddy told me he would play anybody one pocket on that table….but Red could give him 9-7.

I believe that Harold did play in the Canadian Snooker Championship one year and lost his match against Chenier. Maybe there is a record of that somewhere, I don't know.
