David Tice Cues

I read somewhere that David Tice stopped making cues. If so - that's a real shame. I have been away from the pacific northwest for a number of years, am planning on going back soon, and was hoping to have a cue made by him.

The phone number that is listed on the internet for his shop in Leavenworth is now disconnected. Does anyone know for sure whether or not he completely out of the cue making scene?

Also - if there is anyone here that played at Cicchitti's Pizza in Bellingham, WA, in the mid-late 90's I'd love to hear from you. There was a tournament there every three months or so for a few years back then that drew a good crowd. Guys like Dan Louie, Harry Platis, and many more of the Seattle crew showed up.

Thanks for any info about the Dave Tice cues though.

I don't know for certain if he's done making cues, but will say I've always liked the ones I've seen posted here. His retirement does seem to be a common theme when his cues are posted though. They are some floating around here, so you might have some luck in a search.

Last I heard Dave moved to Hawaii after retiring from cuemaking. Haven't heard about any tournaments @ Cicchitti's in recent years. Lots of folks attend the ones that Ken has over at The Village Pub...and he typically posts up the flyers over in the Tournaments section. There is also a weekly tourney over @ The Alger Bar & Grille on Sunday evenings that is really fun. Doesn't seem to be as many tournaments lately...seems to slow during the fall/winter leagues.

Might try billiards and bagels see if they have any. Eazy kid used to play with them he might know of were a few are other then that good luck.

If he retired and moved to Hwaii like someone said might give pulldapin a pm he might know of him maybe one or two floating over ther also.

i was in Seattle in October and ran into him at the Golden Fleece. He is indefinitely retired as far as I know. I have seen a few cues of his for sale in the past few months.

His cues play great they hit similar to Roger Pettit. Both hit similar to Kersenbrock.
