I have a 4 point Dayton cue for sale. I bought it on here from Bamacues a couple of years ago and it is too good of a cue to just sit in my case not being used since I hardly ever get to play. I would like to get $800 for it. I talked to Mr. Dayton about this cue. He told me the wood was an unusual piece of "heart" maple. He said you hardly ever find this wood any more it has a very nice honey color too it. He made this cue for a friend of his that passed away before he was able to give it to him. The crosses are Ivory

I thought this cue was commissioned by mike Peabody in memory of his late wife. Mike's handle here is cueball1950, send him a pm to confirm. I think he also had a bcm and Jerry -r- cue made to match this, 4 point 3 veneer, with cross inlays in points and butt sleeve.

Hmmm not sure when I talked to Mr Dayton he indicated it was made for a friend of his who was a minister. Either way it is a great shooter and just wasted sitting in my case not being used.

When I was younger and going to church the minister used to have us teenagers over for pool. It was a lot of fun and he was waaaay better than a minister should have been. After a few weeks he showed us all his trophies from his youth...the guy hustled us! lol This cue made me think back to those days. He definitely would have loved it, though as I remember he had a sneaky pete.

It is a radial pin. The joint is white but i do not think it is ivory i believe he told me it was phenolic if i remember correctly.

We used to break into the church rec center in the middle of the winter when it was -10 with 8 feet of snow on the ground and play bumper pool, drink wine and eat frozen sticks of kobalssa sausage when I was 12 years old
