*** I cannot believe that somebody didn't jump all over that Dayton!

We should talk about a trade of some type....I've got that LeBow as well as a Tice and a few others.

Lighten the pictures up. It's hard to see the details in the forearm.

hey Tokyo dave.. i was just looking at the Dayton you mentioned.. your right that cue is beautiful.. only 1 question though...

looking at the joint.. i am sure its ivory because the cue is so nice and it would be a shame to use anything else.. anyways...

it looks like a shorter joint with the rings under it.. are the rings above it also or you think they are part of the joint protector?

its hard to tell from the picture.. my guess would be the second rings would be on the joint protectors..

what do you think?

BTW- here is a bump for the dayton in the ebay auction.. man that is a beautiful cue... good luck with selling it..

Hey, if it doesn't sell this time I'll trade you 3 cues for it.
Fairly new unwrapped Dominiak with beautiful swirling wood.
fairly new Dale Perry Speedster
Fairly new $440 MSRP Joss.

If I knew my job was secure, I'd buy it. Something's going down March 1st, but we don't know what.

I would guess that the additional rings are part of the JPs and not an extention of the joint. I admitt I'm no expert when it comes to being familiar with all variations of cue designs, but I don't recall ever seeing, or don't see any purpose in having an ivory joint topped with rings. Seems that you would lose the ivory joint feel, and for all real purposes, with the JPs removed, it would look like a huge and overstated Bushka ring on the wrong end of a cue!!

Hope it all ends up to be OK. There are so many people losing their jobs today. It almost seems like there is no such thing as security on the job anymore. Good luck HAL.

Thanks for the offer Hondo. I am selling off the majority of my collection. Almost done with the exception of a Runde and a couple of others. So unfortunately I don't need any more cues. I don't know what they are like now but Dominiak use to make a great playing cue at a great price. Do you know what happened to him? Regards.

No problem. I had heard that he had retired and/or died
and that son Aaron had taken over but I was informed
that he is alive and well but rarely builds any cues.
My Dominiak is really nice and may be turning into a
collectors cue. My friends that shoot with it love it.
To me it's a little stiff hitting for my taste. I've had a
number of offers for it & have had a couple of folks
pm me & tell me I better hold on to it. Not sure what
to do.
