DBK Russian Cue

I hate to say this, I traded and bought back a cue I sold a buddy some yrs ago. I bought it back due to the fact that a buddy bought a 9 foot table and the cue is 60 inches long. It is lighter than I normally shoot with about 18.5 ozs. The problem or issue is I find that I shoot some of the best pool I have shot in yrs with it. I hate to say this but if I was to shoot for my life I'd shoot the game with it rather than my Hercek. I am not knocking the Hercek Joel did his usual perfect job and built it to my specs but I learned something.

Is it any different? Is the shaft a different configuration? the butt? Do you have a picture?
 
I bet your DBK has a hornbeam shaft :grin: Oh well, TWO hornbeam shafts!
 
My next cue is going to be a DBK. My chalk wants to go home :thumbup:

Looks like nice cues, so I'm willing to give it a whirl.......

I intend as well to get a cue built by Dimitry, (sp) I have only seen and heardwonderful things. Value wise IMO if they are as recommended, I don't know how many offers are better out there.

Yeah, trying to find the "right" blank now. I told him what I want, but I got more difficult combo of woods, so if he can get something close, it might work ;)
