Ok I thought I had secured a place to stay in Louisville KY. My cousin had told me I could stay on her couch. My earlier post you all talked me into making the trip so I double checked with her and it turns out she has in laws coming in so there won't be any room.

So spill it guys give me the names of the cheapest places. I would gladly split a room with someone. I could be there as early as Tuesday if someone wanted to split a room . If not I might just need a room for Thursday and Friday night.

Hampton Inn about 6-8 miles away tell them you are playing at DCC and you get the room for 70 a night. hope this helps not sure about any other hotels

The Horseshoe is giving a $99 special rate to people coming to DCC. This is for a single or double room. I think you can book this online.

Thanks guys. I will look for the roach motels I hoping for something under $50 I would split a double room at the horseshoe if someone wanted for a couple nights.

Well if you knew people and since you are only going to be there for a couple days I would recommend the tried and true method of hitting people up to let you "crash for a couple hours in their room". Priceline is your friend in this case.

I am sure that you can find plenty of spots around $50 with a quick search online.

And there is always the Car-Tel - just bring a lot of pillows and a thermal sleeping bag - freshen up in the bathroom and you're good to go. I stayed in that place one night and woke up and went inside at 10am and won $1200 playing pool. Everyone else was wasted after being up all night playing pool and cards and I was fresh and ready for action.
