DCC Cost?

For anyone that played in the Derby, not including travel prices, how much did you spend on the Derby this year?

If possible, I'd really like to play next year and I'd like a ball park figure of what I'd be spending to play.

Thanks everyone,

It is easy to estimate

They post the entries on the website. There are also hotel rates posted. If possible you can cut that in half if you share with someone.

Travel depends on you

There are also back in costs

Table rental at $10 per hour but not required.

Food costs. Many take a cooler and or eat elsewhere.

Side bets and mini tournaments

Money for a shirt or pool accessory.

Many go for just a few days as staying for the whole thing and entering all the tournaments could easily be close to $3000 if not sharing a room.

I had no idea the DCC held mini tournaments. Was that posted on the DCC website? I did not notice it. Anyway, the cost would be $160 plus $100 to buy back for a 2nd chance (if you just played in the 9 ball for example), plus $50 a day for food, if you were to eat at the buffet 2 times plus some snacks in between. So for the 3 day (?) 9 ball, it might be $150 just for food alone, plus $130 per night (?) for the rooms (unless you find players to share the room with, because a room can have up to 4 people, the DCC site noted). So, I am guessing around $600 for the 9 ball (I am guessing). My math is not too good, lol. Maybe others can chime in, and note how much their expenses were just for the 9 ball (if they traveled alone, and did not share a room).
