As I understand it, you are an M.D. and not concerned at all about the financial aspects of playing pool.
I have a brother (a very successful investment banker) who says that any form of gambling "Is A Total Waist Of Time" and from his perspective - I agree.
IF HE COULD PLAY PERFECT POOL AND WIN EVERY GAME OF THE HIGHEST STAKES POSSIBLE, HE WOULD LOSE MONEY (because of the time involved), COMPARED TO RUNNING HIS CORPORATION.
I am not calling you "A Nit". If anything, I envy you.
But I have grown up in an era that the playing of pool had two different avenues that could have been taken once you decided to pursue it for a career.
