I called Harrahs last week to get a room for the Derby and was told they did not have any available. Is this because it is too early and they have not started making reservations or does it mean they are sold out. If anyone knows what is going on please let us know. Thanks, Tom
 
I am a little cofused too on this one. I was able to get reservations for most of the dates except for a few days in the middle. I was never given a good answer on why those dates werent available. I just was told they were sold out. Which doesnt make sense to me.....
 
I hope Greg posts something soon. With the way things are with everyone's finances and christmas coming up. I'm trying to go ahead and budget for what I think I will need to go but, it would be nice to know for sure.
 
Yeah, rooms must be all on hold for the Derby!

I also just tried to book rooms for five nights and absolutely nothing was available so I hope this means that even more rooms have been set aside for the Derby. I just wish there was an easier way to find out when these are open so I don't miss em when they are finally availablel.:mad::eek:

I just called and got my reservations. The operator suggested their staff may have been confused about some other events. Any way, use the code S 01 HDER when you call.
 
DCC event room reservations are not sold out

Please note that the package price (Code S01DPKG) is sold for only a 9-day booking arriving 1/22 and departing 1/31/10. Please use code S01HDER if you are wishing to book individual dates fewer than the nine day period listed here.
