Is there a schedule of events available for the tournament? I was looking to play in the 9ball.

The tournament dates are Jan 22-30, 2010. The tentative start time for 9-Ball is Wednesday, January 27 between 12:00PM and 1:30PM. A complete tentative round by round schedule for all three events will be posted here tomorrow afternoon (Sunday 9/27/09). Looking forward to seeing you there!

2010 DCC Event Planning Schedule

Here is a tentative schedule of tournaments by round
for next year's event. Please keep in mind that the final
schedule depends on the final number of entrants, number
of tables, estimated match times, and buyback rate.
The start times for each tournament are reasonably certain.

Please also note the change in start time for 9 ball
(to Wednesday at Noon).

The final schedule will be posted in a similar manner on the DCC
website DerbyCityClassic.com on Friday, January 22 and
will be updated continuously with any changes as the tournament
progresses.

Your comments on this plan and the format for presenting it are
encouraged and appreciated.

Ed

I plan to do the 14.1 Challenge again with about the same schedule:

Prelims -- Sunday through Wednesday

Finals -- Thursday and Friday

The video situation is not settled yet, so I'm not sure whether the finals will (mostly) be on the TV table or not.

Hi Ed. My question is regarding the bank pool round 1 start time. As this is the first event of the tourney and there may be a number of people flying into Louisville the morning of Friday the 22nd, I was wondering if there are plans to be accommodating for at least that first round if someone's flight is delayed coming into Louisville. I realize this is hard (maybe impossible) to do given the number of entrants, but I was just wondering if this had been discussed. Thanks!
