De Er Le Cup Chinese 8-Ball World Championship?

This kid Zhang Xiaotong is very impressive ..never heard of her. Pin point positioning
Down something like 7-10 to Alison Fisher won next 5 racks and now on hill breaking for match 12-11.

She is a super strong player that would give any woman in the world fits.

Selby wins 15-12 and Appleton wins 15-13.

A rematch of their English Pool final from several years ago.

Pocket Size

For those interested in the pocket size, here's a pic. Looks like about 3.25" to me.

Bai Ge is the Women's Champ beating Zhang Xiaotong 17-13

1st session of Men's final (Darren v Mark Selby) starts 30 min from now at 130pm local time (1230 am EST)
It wi be in 2 sessions - 2nd session at 730pm local Time (630am EST)
Race to 21
Will be a sort of rematch of World English 8 ball final of some years ago before Darren switched to American pool which Darren lost. Unlike his peers , Jayson and Meiling , Darren has not won World English 8 ball before
This can be billed as match between Pool pro v Snooker pro . World Pool champion v World Snooker champion
Either one can win this but IMHO, Darren is favorite cos he has better overall 8 ball game, more weapons in his arsenal. Though to be fair to Selby he is snooker specialist (even with E88 background) playing a pool game against a pool specialist he should be underdog

Past Chinese 8 ball tourneys have.been win by pool specialists like Gareth Potts , Yang Fan
What if a snooker specialist like Selby wins this?
Does that mean pool players face another threat from snooker players stealing their lunch if prizemoney were big like this tourney?? LOLOLOL

Tune in

It's Appleton vs. Selby in the final, winner gets 100G's!

The prize money list says 600,000 RMB for first and 300,000 RMB for second. I just checked a currency converter, and it looks like $1 is about 6.25 Chinese Yuan Renminbi. That would make first place about $96,000 and second place about $48,000.

Looks like Darren made a good decision in skipping the USA's Derby City Classic!
