De Er Le Cup Chinese 8-Ball World Championship?

I think those comments automatically show up no matter what...
I was chatting with another AZer on there and the Chinese people watching were getting pissed off at us for spamming English across the screen.

At the interval, after about 140 mins of play, Appleton leads 9-7. They will be back in about 3.5 hours to finish the race to 21 final. I'd expect the final session to run 3+ hours.

Selby looks very dangerous with any possibility of a clearance, but Daz may be a little wiser in when to go and when not to. A good run of breaks in either guy's favor could make the difference with B&R over 60% not uncommon for these guys.

Are those chat-room comments rolling across the screen? Any way to eliminate them?

Edit -- looks like this session just ended.
They're annoying, but better than a buffering screen.

Hard to believe I was watching live streaming of worldsnooker events from China back in 2002 at better quality than we are getting 13 years later. So much for this doubling of capacity every year. The interwebs need to get off their butts!

They have resumed playing. Daz ahead 10-8 now
I think they will play 21 racks since it is race to 21 before they stop for interval

1st session ends with Darren ahead 11-9. 2nd session about 3 hrs from now 730pm local time (630pm EST)
Nice pattern play by Darren. He should snap this off barring any big turnaround in form in 2nd session
:grin-square:

Just like people were saying Ronnie O'Sullivan "should" win after their first session in the crucible final last year. Don't ever count Selby out, he's known for being a comeback king.

I missed a few frames there... seems they stopped for a presentation. Daz still a 2 frame leader, but a spartan said, can never rule Selby out. In fact, both of these guys are ultra-competitive and never give up!

Would like to see Daz win. He's wanted an 8-ball World title so long and has been so close so many times, and frankly, as successful as he is, Selby probably makes a lot more, and doesn't have to wear out boots traveling the world fighting for crumbs, to do it like Daz has the last 7 years.

Oops, I was mistaken earlier.. it's a race to 21, the women's final was to 17.

And I agree with Keith Jawahir, 11-9 in a race to 21 is no done deal as Selby is a grinder and thrives in this kind of situation.

Look at the picture in the attachment, there is the button to turn of the letters.

Did the women's final happen? If so, who won?

Bai Ge won 17-13 over Zhang Xiaotong
Bai Ge led by few racks all way. In hill rack at 13-16, Xiaotong had chance to close gap but accidentally potted black
2 strong kids for sure who blew away the veterans

Yes Selby still has chance but slim especially in alt break and Darren more hungry for big payday- $100K a lot more for pool player than snooker player
15-9 Darren
Darren can smell the big money:grin:
