DEACON - Does anyone know him or ever see him???

It has now been two months since I since DEACON $25 for a Hager cue extension. Despite several PMs sent to him, I have heard nothing since PayPaling him the payment. I have posted a couple of times on this forum, but I have never learned anything about his status. His last post was two months ago.

I am hoping that someone actually knows him or his whereabouts. Anyone?

I know him, I'll check into it. I can tell you this much, he's a good guy, and this isn't his M.O. in any way shape or form...so as I sit, I'm hoping everything is ok with him. I'll contact you with what I find out.

I know him too and he is a very good guy.
Lives about 30 miles from me.
I bought two Ed Young cues from him.
I'll see what I can find out.
 
I have no doubt that he is a good guy and have been told as much by several AZ people. I am thinking that he may be ill or might have some other kind of difficulties. I got a phone number from an AZ person and just called. Got the voice mail message and left a message for him to call me. I'll post if I find out anything.

About a year or so ago, he wasn't available for a couple of months. I think he was ill at the time. From what I gather, he's a very reliable guy. I know it's hard, but hang on for a while.
 
I will having some extensions next week. I will be more than happy to send you one at my cost to make up for the loss.

Thanks, Tony, but I was buying the extension for a friend and now it's been so long, the friend has lost interest in getting one. At this point, I'd just like a refund of the $25.

Well, i certainly do not blame you for not wanting any more but i have to believe something out of his control happened to him. A guy with 9o some itrader deals on here does not stiff someone over lunch money.

If you post or pm your paypal i will immediately paypal you the funds. If the handle shows up, i will take it, if not i do not care.

John, what a kind offer! On the one hand, I feel a little funny about taking the money from someone who had nothing to do with the transaction. But on the other hand, if you wish to balance the books for your friend, I'm willing to let you. Here is the original transaction:

If no one has sent you your money back yet I will. You can send Deacon a msg to send me the extension when he can. I have always wanted one and may not play for the next 3 months so time is of no matter to me and the 25.00 ain't going to hurt a knifemaker either. I am on the cutting edge of society and love it. No problem helping someone out.

I am covering the money he got and will take the extension when he can ship it.
 
Things moved a bit too fast here

John sent me the $25 before I could decline his offer and accept the offer Percy made.

So let me suggest this: If I ever get the extension, I will send it along to John, using his PayPal address.

Percy, if you want to PM John to work something out, please do so.

John, you are really a stand up guy and I appreciate your generosity.
 
John let me know if you want me to get the extension either now or when you get it.
I don't really need one but would like to try one. I don't play enough for it to matter, but always willing to help out someone if I can.
