I wanted to let the forum members who were involved in the original thread know that I recieved my cue back from Josh today.
I will probably incur the ire of the forum moderator for this post but I figured some would want to know how it played out.
Mr wilson killed the thread at Joshs' request:confused: .As I stated to him in a pm I felt & still feel that thread should stand as a public record for forum members to learn from.

I wondered where that thread went. Are we to assume that the cue did not ROLL RIGHT ?
I would NEVER do business with that buyer.

To Clarify

I had the thread deleted because it was causing too much drama. Everyone said I should not have posted the thread so now it's gone. Jim, I don't recall you stating in a PM I should have left it up. I also still have all your PM's too. It doesn't really matter now though. The cue was sent back to Jim upon his request. It never left my house for any reason. Doug, If you would never do business with me then that's your right. You people can try to make me out to sound bad all you want. I'm not a bad guy neither am I dishonest. Also, I will state this again. Jim was never at any risk dealing with me regardless of what some may think. I know who I am and the things I will not do to someone. Maybe one day some of you will meet me at the DCC and come to learn what you think at times isn't always right. Sorry our deal just didn't work out Jim.

Clarify's ass. I am sure that it had nothing to do with you attempting to sell those Wayne Anderson cues on this forum. :rolleyes:

All can say is Poor Wayne! That deal just did not seem important to you and therefore I would not consider being your customer either. Wyld78

Wayne is very happy to have me representing his cues. I'm a semi pro player and a very nice and honest guy. I feel sorry for you. Sitting around with nothing else to do but try and cause trouble and make things out to be something that they are actually not. You should be proud of yourself. Your a fine person indeed.

Josh, Living in Tampa, I'm well aware of your pool accomplishments and I've never heard anyone speak ill of you. With that said, the last two lengthy drama threads that you participated in on the FS/WTB section, have left me with a firm desire to never do ANY business with you.
That should be no skin off your nose, as I have been here at AZB since it's inception (about 8-9 years) and haven't EVER bought or sold any items here.
I did send money for the AZB U.S.Open representative, however.

Glad to hear you got your cue back, Jim. And Josh--honesty alone doesn't make for good business practice. Good luck to both of you in your future transactions.
 
I know Josh!

What he lacks in business experienceand business sense he makes up for in honesty. I have never known of him dumping or scamming or tossing air biscuits high in the sky.
He has alot of heart. He does wear his heart on his sleeve. But for those short comings he is very honest and that is saying alot for anyone that plays at his level. He will never cheat or steal to get your money. He will gladly take all he can get at the table.
He has a 100% satisfaction on ebay and he just has a little to learn about his dealings here. Everything he does he stands behind.
I would never hesitate to do anything with him on ths forum.
Others that have know him here have gone as far as to say if you are not paid fast enough they will cover his cost.
The few here that have known Josh for half his life like him. When one of his friends died Josh stepped up and spent every cent he had to buy his buddies cues at a very fair price to his buddies wife. It took hom almost a year to get all his money back and to this day I think he came out looser.
If that sounds like someone you would not deal well that is Josh!

I know how to do business. I've been buying and selling cues for 9 years. Excuse me if I didn't have the money in my paypal account fast enough.

This was said several times in your original thread on Saturday - you don't need money in your "paypal account" to make a payment thru paypal. If you learn nothing else from your misguided thread then at least review how paypal works because "transferring funds to paypal" was a bogus excuse. On top of that I think your procrastinating with the "cue rolling" rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. Your biggest problem was starting the post rather then dealing one on one with JimL privately - which IMO was your attempt to needlessly cover your ass and it backfired big time. I hope you learned something from this episode.

I had nothing to cover myself from. The PM's between me and Jim should have stayed there so you are right about that. He was uneasy about waiting for me to roll the cue the next day and then send him the payment. I thought if I started the thread it would ease him on seeing he wasn't at risk as everyone would know the deal. I was not Procrastinating on rolling the cue. I received it on Friday and stated I was going to roll it Saturday because that was when I could get to the pool room. My bank account is not connected to my paypal account. I don't want that kind of information on the internet. Funds are transfered to another account by someone else and then sent to me. I then pay them what they send me. I don't usually buy anything using paypal. I always send a money order. I accept payments with my paypal account and that's the only reason I have it. I have explained more here then I really had to. Please read my posts above and I don't think this needs to continue.

josh i guess you didnt learn your lesson. "he was at no risk, i'm an honest guy ask anyone" doesnt cut it here. jiml took all the risk as he didnt know you at all. he really had no way to know that you are honest (which i am not debating since i dont know you) but yet he trusted you be sending the cue w/o payment. you really should have been ready to pull the trigger and pay, then jiml would have been at no risk. then you immature act you started a thread to get forum support for your position, then when the community told you that you were wrong, you asked for the thread to be removed?? b/c of the drama or b/c you didnt get the support you expected?

you to need to learn about how to do business, and how not to abuse a business partner's trust. there may be some maturity issues here too. i hope that you can learn the right lesson here my friend.

jiml, thanks for letting us know what happened. i assume that the cue made it back in the same shape you sent it out?

I do have news for you, paypal needs to be funded. It all depends how you have the account set up. I have mine set up so I fund the account it is drawn from so that account never has money in it, that is the safe way to set it up. You should really know all there is to know about paypal before you tell someone how it works.

Agreed... I too have Paypal set up so it is not connected to my main checking account. So.... I do have to transfer money into the "paypal" account when I am ready to buy, & I never have more than $500 in the account when I am not buying anything.

The deal is over, everyone got their stuff back and went their separate ways. IMO, everyone should let it drop at that. There are too many cat fights and peeing contests around here anyway.
