I've posted a half dozen direct quotes from the players. There's no lack of facts, just selective reading. There seem to be two sides here. I saw the whole thing and think it's despicable...and I haven't paid attention but I like Dean.

1. Did you read all of Deanoc's posts in all of the threads regarding these cues, and before they later got edited by Deanoc in cases where that occurred?
2. Do you agree that initially and for a long while Deanoc was absolutely trying to make people think that Jack was personally hands on building these cues (and that he only came out with the truth that Jack was not hands on making them himself after being confronted and hounded relentlessly about it and his scam was so thoroughly exposed that he could no longer deny it)?

If your answer to 1 is no, then you need to STFU because you do not have all the facts and clearly can't comment one way or the other on what Deanoc did or didn't say or do.

If your answer to 1 is yes, but your answer to 2 is no, then not only are you a scammer supporter, but you are also a bold faced liar who bold face lies to support your beloved scams and scammers because Deanoc very clearly did try to sell the cues as being hands on made by Jack for a while in the beginning which is clearly known to anybody who read all of the posts at the time they came out. And even if you didn't read everything initially, you have been shown posts since where Deanoc is clearly trying to sell the cues as being hand made by Jack.

If you answer to 1 is yes you read all of Deanoc's posts at the time they came out, and your answer to 2 is yes you agree that initially he was fraudulently trying to sell those cues as having been made by (as opposed to just designed by) Jack until he got busted and could no longer keep that lie going, then you are both informed and are being honest.

So what are your answers to 1 and 2?

Even utterances by other individuals does not clear that hurdle.

Facts are connected to where, when and how whereas truths
are usually things one believes to be true and connect to why.

Be that as it may, it is apparent that there are individuals that are
intentionally hostile to some members and facts seldom are used.

I do not condone what Dean did with the Jackpot cues. Honesty
matters but resurrecting this topic when Dean’s already left the
Forum is just vengeance and hatred being needlessly promoted.

Haha, you're quite the gymnast.

People have savaged Dean's reputation because he lied. His lies are both fact, and a true event.

Keep finding ways to downplay his fraud, you're much smarter than the rest of us.
 
I will say that beyond all the name calling, the one positive that has come out of this thread other than the entertainment is that I have more names of individuals that I will never make any sort of business transactions with.

Someone posted this a ways back in this trainwreck of a thread...but people aren't just bringing Deanoc up to trash him. It might get brought up in passing, then a handful of AZBers will go to defending him (again) and that's when all this nonsense gets started again. If folks keep trying to defend what was pretty plainly evident as a scam, this won't die. Stop defending his actions regarding the Jackpot fiasco, and it'll fade away.

This. I have used those that find excuses for the hustler mentality of such as Dean, RKC, etc. as a judge of their character. It's an easy way to eliminate sellers and services.

So true! Usually those that feel no wrong doing occurred are the ones who are equally likely to make the same decisions. Makes life a lot easier to separate the good from bad.

You're kidding me right? I would never claim I'm holier than thou, as I have made mistakes, just like everyone else in these forums. The thing is this wasn't a MISTAKE, and there was never an actual apology issued. Dean is the type that the second he feels like it's safe to come back, you can bet he will and it will start all over. Personally the fact that you don't care is far more depressing.
