Defining a true one pocket player

What seems to me is important to remember is..we are talking about a pool game not an IQ test or a chess match
Suppose I need 1 ball ,I have a ball in hand spot shot and there is a ball in front of my opponnet's hole,Now i only make about 50% of my spot shots so I figure to lose if i miss the spot shot,on the other hand I figure to be 3 to one favorite if I knock his ball up table
So I knock it up table and one of the sweaters who makes 96% of his spot shots says "That ain't pool"
Same principle, Sigel who shoots so straight and makes a certain shot that the movers duck does so and runs out.The mover says "That ain't one pocket" because all of his friends duck these shots because they miss most and can't control the white ball and couldn't run out if they did so the risk reward ratio is unfavorable to them, but not to Sigel

A good move fore Sigel is a flier for the mover,on the other hand I duck a spot shot and the shooter says"I thought he was supposed to be sharp why didn't he sink that hanger and win the game.

Another thing they fail to see when Mike shoots a bank when they have a ball in their hole is they only get 1 or 2 if he misses and then he runs out if he makes it.
Its not that the shooter is stupid, its that his shooting opens up a lot of opportunities that the mover doesn't have.or even recognize

Having played almost all of the great players of my time and usually losing it was not the moving that killed me,it was the big runs and accurate banks

Since Artie is the great mover, and Sigel the shooter,I suggest a game of 8 to 6 where Artie gets 2 balls, who would want Artie?
