Slip and Slide

I like to hit most of my shots with what I call Slip and Slide,
I use a slip stroke and slide the cueball toward the object ball instead of rolling it end over end.
You seldom get beat by a ball rolling off .
You can also hit the object ball in lots of different places and still pocket it, making shape much easier on some shots.
Not every shot is hit when the cueball breaks to forward roll, some are just before or just after depending on where the cueball needs to go.
It takes some practice to know when the cueball will stop sliding and turn over , but once you get the hang of it , you can do things with the cueball that are truly astounding.
Some top players can actually tell you how many times the cueball will turn over before breaking.
There will be detractors of this system as there always are , if you don't think it works, come to see me and I will show you.

If your talking about the low ball hit on the cb I use it quit often.I agree you can do a lot with it.On certain long shot I would rather go at it this way then slow rolling the cb.
