My computer is broke so on my wife's kindle. PITA to post with this thing much less search the actual Internet but it is still better than my phone.

Which leads me to my oh so basic question.

Can anyone tell me where I can get some small square blocks of delrin ???

I've never looked for anything other than rod and not sure where to find any blocks and I'm not having luck searching with this kindle. I'll be able to use computer at work tomorrow but thought I would ask here and maybe get a head start on my quest.

Anyways.I need 4 delrin blocks all measuring 3"X3"X1/4" thick. If anyone has any they would sell or point me in the direction to buy it in a block form I would be very appreciative.

ELBeau.... I looked a little on ebay but get discouraged real easy with my phone and the kindle. Never thought I'd say it but I'll be glad to go to work tomorrow just so I can use a real computer.

Woooo Hooooo, FINALLY a fricking real computer. Amazing how dependent we are on these damn things.

Thanks for all the replies and all the help. I really like desmocourtney's idea of a cutting board. I can go to walmart and have one today and won't have to wait on something to ship to me. With this week having a holiday in it, it would only delay the shipping and I really want to get this project completed by the end of the week. Thanks again for all the links, suggestions, and all the help.

Cutting board from the kitchen cabinet worked PERFECT. We got like 4-5 different ones so the wife said take it. Will post some pics when I'm done with the project.

Cutting board cut up into 3"X3"X1/4" squares. Gotta trim them up and smooth the edges. More pics and details of the project to follow.

Glad to see you found something that works. Thought I might add that cutting boards are more often UHMW - Ultra High Molecular Weight - and not exactly Delrin. UHMW doesn't machine, drill, or tap as well as Delrin, but it's a very usable material for many projects, as you have discovered.
