Good decision Katie. When you get your rack, play with it for a week or so before you make any changes (using felt). I think you'll like the sound - I do. It's not annoying at all. Adds to the pleasure of using a great rack.
Okay, I placed my order on the manufacturer's website, standard UPS shipping, so it'll be a little while getting to me. I requested that they engraved one of the rails with the obvious: "The Barbie Billiards Room" (I'm sometimes called a pool playing Barbie Doll in league and tournament play.)

The Delta is the best triangle out there, so you can be sure of that. Whether it is worth the money, only you can answer that question for yourself, especially since you have a thing for pink.
The main difference between the Elite and the base model (yeah, the Elite is machined and the base model is cast but the only thing that matters to me is if it works) is that the Elite is guaranteed to be within specs. Each one is inspected and comes with a cert that it is in spec. The base model does not have this but it is still a Delta.
I bought the base model and am happy with it. Though it wasn't guaranteed to provide a tight rack, if it didn't perform for whatever reason I would have returned or exchanged it right away. But it did so I didn't. I didn't need to spend the extra money for the guarantee because I bought it from a reputable supplier that offered a 30 day return.
