Delta / Metal Racks damaging balls ?

That's the 1 piece cast version. On mine (the screwed together version), I had some scrap of leather at home and just cut it with a knife, and pressed it in there. I did a sloppy job and left it as a rectangle, did not try to match the rounded corners. It occasionally falls out. Works great for the noise though.
This is horrible news. You’re an engineer… get that insert right 😂 Good fit and fashion matters.

...
And we are getting off topic buddy, the question on topic is asking if their reasoning is justified based on damaging the balls, not creating any sort of unfair playing field !!

"...are more inclined to think this is being done politically and also to disadvantage our side."

Hey guys,
Just a question if the brains trust can help.

I have a friend with a Delta who brings it with him to league nights to replicate the experience he gets from his home table racks,
and now the people who run our local league have banned the triangles as they are claiming they chip and scratch the comp ball sets for league nights.

We absolutely can not see that this is the case and its certainly not noticeable from a home perspective and are more inclined to think this is being done politically and also to disadvantage our side.

Can the fellow owners of metal triangles shed some light on this if you can please ?
Amsterdam Billiards used Deltas for years. Only issue were they loosened up after, and periodically re-tightened.

LOL its my topic !!
You dont get to tell me what im trying to ask haha
Your other points are nonsense !!
If they are so used to the house racks, then they have no contest and by all means they can keep using them like they always have !!
(they have the offer to take or leave using the metals and we actually encourage it and they are more than welcome)(and again a perfect rack benefits ALL players, cause im pretty sure if you're like me and the opponent racks himself a sloppy rack , breaks dry and leaves a messy clustered spread it frustrating).
This is NOT what this is about as not one of the 100+ members of the league have complained and they/we have been using the metals for well over a year now at league... !!! This is a new thing as of tonight....
On Ignore after just a few posts, this is a record for sure.

When I go to a pool room for league play I want to use the equipment we pay to use. Don't force me to play with what you bring. Table, balls, and rack should be the same for everyone. Bring your cues, gloves, chalk, etc., and you do not have to share with me. Do not force me to use your equipment. I would state my thoughts a bit more gently.

Oh wait. I may want everyone to use my measles cue ball. LOL

I've seen the cheaper ones loosen but I have never seen the Elite's loosen. What version did Amsterdam use?

Put loc-tite on them and you're good. The basic model lacks the milled corner pieces and uses less screws. We had one at the 'hall come loose and i put red loc-tite on it. End of problem.

Checking their website, Delta-13 Elites. Do you have a link to the Select? After years of use, and re-tightening the threads were stripped.
