i hope you dont mean me??????
and also i think everyone on here needs to remember that all the cue building equipment is TAIG based. not hightower based.
chris hightower deserves all the recognition he recieves for finding a good base and providing good dedicated cue building equipment when there wasnt much out there for people trying to get started in cue building.
this post wasnt meant to start a war about who buit what and everything thing thats going on in it.
FACT: this headstock came from TAIG i know this for a FACT ive talked to the owner of it on the phone about it.
it matches up on the dovetail perfectly and works the same as chris' theres some very slight diffrences but at such a huge discont compared to new i figured this would be something someone could use to make a cheap lathe, all you have to do is get a couple cheap componets and your in there.
TAG a user that posted on the first page could sell you the dovetail and a carriage and crosslide tailstock and steadyrest at a reasonable price and for a fraction of what other lathes cost.
from now on ill try and keep my good findings for myself and choice people since this has turned into a bash session.
