Deluxe Hightower CueSmith Lathe For Sale

Thanks Joe at Cue Components

We just bought a brand new Deluxe CueSmith lathe from Chris 3 weeks ago it cost us $2900.00+ with the delivery (excellent machine worth every penny). This Deluxe Joe has won’t last long it is a great deal as I was just at Joe’s shop today to buy a Hightower inlay machine he had and had a chance to check out the Deluxe. These machines weren’t used much at all like new condition as stated. The wood and other stuff he is offering with the Deluxe is worth well over $500.00 so you are paying $1750.00 for the lathe (WOW). I was very happy with my purchase of the inlay machine. Joe always treats me right and is very helpful.

Thats a good price on a fine machine...it won't last long.
Absolute great "starter" set for someone.

I looked up the records on this machine and it is 3 years old. It has the new style gear rack and is identical to the one sold today. There are a lot of extras in the pictures that normally would not come with it. The guy spent almost $6000 new on the machine plus inlay machine and wood and such. The only thing I see missing is possibly a a few collets. The set had ten and I only saw 4 I think. Full new set is $75 for ten and 3/4 blanks are $8 if you just want to cut the missing sizes. They could just be among all the stuff there, but I see nothing major missing and a lot of extras. I would say the $500+ figure for the extras is probably way low. This lathe looks like it has had very little use. I believe the original purchaser passed away not too long after buying it. Looks like a great deal.

Hello Everyone....

The Hightower lathe is SOLD and going to Texas pending receipt of payment.

Jim... thanks for buying the inlay machine and next time I'll put on my boxing gloves so I don't get beat up as badly. And, I thought I was tough to bargain with! You make me look like a marshmallow.

Chris... thanks for chiming in and confirming the story. And yes, the buyer did pass on in an auto wreck. The machine is in great condition and you're absolutely correct in that there are a few collets missing but everything else more than makes up for it. This was the deal of the century!

And to everyone else... stay tuned as we're going to sell a Unique Products 'Shop Companion' lathe with some of the bells and whistles. Please do not email us about it as we want to give everyone a fair chance at that one too. I'll list it sometime on Tuesday so watch this forum for the bargain!
