Sheesh... You gave it 15 minutes before getting anxious about an answer LoLNobody?
Have you asked Mr. Hightower?I have the penn state 3/4 on my deluxe but just don't do it for coring. Is the other motor Hightower offer better or should I look at something different?
yes but the head stock is not movableI like the 1hp Consew motor with a smaller pulley for more torque. That motor definitely has more nuts than the Penn motor.
You can get a 1 hp Consew and they sell a smaller pulley for more torque.I guess my whole question is. The penn state motor is 3/4 hp and the sewing machine motors that are used with the deluxe is 3/4 hp. Why's it better or more power.
I have a 6’ bed and don’t need to move the motor.yes but the head stock is not movable

It’s close but I like this one and buy the 45mm clutch motor pulley. You will see it below the unit in Amazon. I think they are $8. The only thing that is a PITA is figuring out how to reverse the motor. Once I got that figured out, I haven’t had any problems. The handle for speed control works great on this one and others I’ve seen have had to be modified to get them to work.Is this like the consew you use? Thanks
you don't know what you are missingI have a 6’ bed and don’t need to move the motor.
What exactly am I missing? I can do everything I need to right at the headstock and have a more powerful, longer lasting motor. Those Penn motors won’t outwork one of the servo sewing machine motors.you don't know what you are missing
I would be interested in pics of your AC motor solution.add a 1/2 hp 1725rpm AC motor that can be dropped on............ pm me for pics
