Dennis Dieckman - Kokopelli in the Sky w/ Diamonds
This listing is for a Dennis Dieckman Cue that I got in a trade from a friend ... it's called Kokopelli in the Sky w/ Diamonds
It has the 17 Kokopelli figure inlays and 1 sun inlay (Black)
and 28 (multi colored woods) diamond inlays in a swirling DNA configuration.
The forearm and buttsleeve are black walnut (Dennis told me it was salvaged from a lake and one of 2 cues he made with it at the time) . the handle area looks like straight grain Maple (Don't remember Dennis telling me what it was).
The 'e' position has a stitch ring
The joint is brown phenolic with a Stainless Steel 3/8-10 pin, and is flat faced.
Both shafts are from Dennis's 'river of wood' and sneaky style.
One has the original ferrule and tip (the hardest leather tip I've ever seen) the other has been changed by Mike Gulyassy to a melamine ferrule, Original Moori Medium tip and has his 'shaft freeze'.
Dennis cues are super hard to find ... people buy it and don't let go...
Here's the detailed specs:
Butt: 29", 15.1 oz (430g) (no weight) - a .8oz.23g weight is original and will be included
Shaft DNA 1: 29"-15/16", 12.75mm, 3.8 oz (108g) - original ferrule and tip (Dennis said the tip was from a friend of his and was from a Water Buffalo (IIRC) and is SUPER thick and HARD)
Shaft DNA 2: 29"-15/16", 12.75mm, 3.8 oz (109g) - Melamine Ferrule, Original Moori Medium
Balance point: 19.25" from rear
It's one of the stiffest cues I've ever hit… puts tremendous energy into the ball.
