I have a Dennis Kepley cue that I was wondering if anyone knew about what its worth? I was at a pool tourney with it awhile back and was offered 2000 for it. Can anyone help me? Here is a few pics of it. It came with 3 shafts. I'm not good with woods but I know the ring work is gold and the joint is ivory. Thank you for checking out my cue and also for helping me..

I hope you got his contact info..

Sure didn't. So your saying its not worth that much or do you know?

Its a nice cue, but the market is tough right now..The value is based on what somebody is willing to pay (I'm sure retail price new was more than 2K, but the majority of cues aren't getting retail on the secondary market)..My opinion is the ACV is way south of 2K..again jmo..

DK Cue

I would say 2K sounds about right if it were brand new. You can contact Dennis per the phonebook, in Asheboro,NC. Last I heard he started back making cues a few years ago. I purchased a new, plainjane, solid Tulipwood DK cue about 12 years ago for $450 , with one shaft. Hope this helps!

This is interesting,,,,,,,,,I have compiled quite a listing for cuemakers, but this gentlemen is a new one to me,,,,,,can you verify that he is in fact actively making cues,,,,,,,,,possibly a phone number?

Thanks

I purchased a new Kepley from Dennis in Charlotte around 96 and paid about $425 if I remember correctly Greg. It was a plain jane Birdseye maple with some Stitch ringwork with two shafts.

I was looking around and I found an e-mail address for kepley but he hasn't answered back yet. I bought this cue about 6 or 7 years ago for 500. Well I guess I got my money's worth then.. Lol thank you everyone for checking my cue out and giving me your thoughts and answers..
