Dennis Searing for sale

Very nice cue.
Is the listed price comparable to the secondary market sales of a Searing?

Good question. The price was put up buy the seller but I have seen a few Searings sell in the $3500-$4500 range but none this nice, IMO!! I always compare any hard to get cue to a 1957 Chevy 210 Post, supply is so limited {for quality} and demand is high. Its a great hitting cue and in time can do nothing but gain value.

IT ALL DEPENDS ON WHO YOU ASK. I GUESS WE'LL FIND OUT WHAT THE MARKET WILL BRING FOR THIS CUE.

I do realize they are in demand, still waiting on mine with my name on a waiting list and watching auctions like this one.
I guess I will watch this one only and stay out of the mix.
I may have jumped in if the starting price was in the range you posted.
Will have to see what happens and it if sells.

> That is a really nice cue from Dennis. On the other hand, could that "tangerine" cue or the one Icon has with the blue veneers and silver wire diamonds be worth that much more, since those 2 are WAY nicer than this one? I don't doubt this cue will bring more than the 5500 it's at now,but I question whether or not it SHOULD. As nice as his cues are,I can't see myself paying that kind of money for something without great big ivory points and some silver/gold in it,and a matching break cue, unless it was something special enough for it to not be a daily player. I have liked all 3 of the ones I've hit balls with, and most of the ones I've seen pics of aesthetically, but as a pure pocketing instrument the street price of some of the newer botique cues like Dennis and John Showman are making are getting WAY out of hand,I think. Completely agree.
Have a simple 4-point Showman and will hopefully get on his list with a custom ivory inlaid cue once I have a design finalized in my mind.

i think both searing's and showman's are great!

and i know they both respect each others work tremendously!

Well, go ahead and get on the list. You have 5 years to finalize your design! :)
