I have a very hard time with this when doing cue repair. Any suggestions? I have two 314 shafts now that I need to remove dents from and looking for ideas if anyone is willing to share, Thanks, Bubba

curling iron put a drop of water on it and touch the iron to the water. or tea kettle with good gloves to hold it. i have seen some guys just pull a tube out and it has steam and gets it out extremely quick. i am going to try a steam gun on my practice shaft and it might work efficient but not as efficient as that mach with the little tube that pokes out

Steaming might make the layers of a laminated shaft seperate...JER

For laminated shafts, I've had pretty good success by lightly sanding & cleaning the dent area & using super glue, like you would bondo. Be sure to clean the shaft 1st or you will seal in the dirt...JER
