Day One is complete at the 25th Annual Derby City Classic at the Caesers Horseshoe Casino in Elizabeth, Indiana.
The theme of day one was Short Rack Banks and Bigfoot 10-Ball. The open Banks event was able to complete the first round of play and the original field of 480 players was whittled down to 376 players. Round two was being played on Friday night and Saturday morning.
The Bigfoot 10-Ball Challenge, taking place on the Diamond 10' table in the Accu-Stats arena saw action from the top half of the sixteen player bracket.
