Derby City Classic Predictions

Thanks to SJM for the list of events. Predictions are:

DCC 9-ball banks: Brumback wins over SVB, DVD sales up 400%. SVB tries to cheat a couple times and gets called out on it.

DCC One pocket: SVB wins over Efren in the finals. Out of frustration for not getting into the finals, Scott Frost offers the world 10-7, loses his shirt, and then retires from pool again, forever (for a few weeks).

DCC 9-Ball: SVB beats Dechaine in the finals. AZB posters complain Dechaine always pattern racks, and also would like to remind everyone that SVB is not a world champion.

Bigfoot 10-ball: SVB

George Fels 14.1: Some previously unknown and unranked UK snooker player comes over, decides to try 14.1 for the first time, runs out on everyone using horrible "wrong" patterns but uncanny potting skill.

Archer vs. Dechaine: SVB. Somehow.
 
Scooter's gonna get matched up with a ton on the rail and the whole joint get's busted.:wink:

Banks (Note that there appear to be 336 entries into the banks division this year): I like John Brumback over Dennis Orcollo in the finals, with high finishes from the following: Justin Hall, Brian Gregg, Jason Miller, Skylar Woodward & Shannon Murphy

9 Ball: I like Nick Van den Berg over Jayson Shaw in the finals, with high finishes from the following: Skylar Woodward, Dennis Orcollo, Francisco Bustamante, Justin Hall & Mike Dechaine

Onepocket: I like Dennis Orcollo over Justin Hall in the finals, with John Brumback, Efren Reyes, Francisco Bustamante & Scott Frost with strong finishes.

I like Dennis Orcollo to take the overall.

My prediction this year is different, with all due respect to SVB, i am afraid he is not going to win any of the three games, he might get close 2, or 3rd.
I expect three players that never won it before to win it this time .

Scott and CJ are so far and rusty they will be lucky to get their entry fee maybe a little more
