Some Info

Thanks for posting the link to the website, Mike.

To let you all know, there are PLENTY of rooms left. We have both the Executive West and the Executive Inn this year.

When you call to make a room reservation, you have to tell them that you're coming for the Derby City Classic pool tournament. Otherwise, you don't get the reduced rate ($69 for a room) and you probably won't get a room period....because they have been asked to reserve the rooms for people attending the tournament.

So if you've already called and they've told you that they're booked up....call 'em back up and tell them you're coming for the tournament.

Let me know if I can help...

I had called 2 weeks ago and made mine. I'm sure the suites are probably gone, but they offered me a suite for $89 a night. I took it. It has a separate living room with a fridge and a pullout bed. See you all there. Oh yea, don't make your reservation on the net or you won't get the tourney rate. Sam

That's what they told me last night. I'm going to call back right now.

Thanks,
Tracy

I wish I could enter.

I wanted to enter either the DCC or the Reno open, but I won't be able to enter either one though.

I'm not complaining I'm actually getting a good deal. I'm getting a free paid vacation from Dec 12 throught the 9th of January, but if you look at those dates it precludes me from entering either one.....:(

Oh well, anyone know of some tournaments with top notch players within those dates?

I just got off the phone with Executive West, They say now, "there are plenty of rooms". Call them quick if you want one.

Shelby Driver,

The website says that players get one general admission pass for their spouse. I will be bringing my girlfriend. Will I still receive the free pass for my girlfriend, or is it spouses only?

Mike

unless something has changed

When you enter one event, you get a pass for one other person. It can be anyone. They will get a pass with their picture on it, so it can't be passed to someone else. It is a great deal and part of the reason for 404 entrys in the bank event. Good luck, Sam

Yeah I believe the Music City Open starts on Jan 1,2, or 3. Its played on bar tables in Nashville. There will be many top players from the Southeast there as well as some players there a week early for the DCC.
