Keep looking for info on spectator tickets. When do they start selling? Want to get some good VIP seats, and fear I will miss out! Help!

I do not think you should have anything to worry about. I remember that there was plenty a room available in the VIP seating section (during the finals of the 1 pocket, at the last DCC). It may have filled up though (I just took a glance into that section for a few seconds, when the finals were starting, so I do not know). I did not see that many spectators though (in comparison to how much seating space I saw).

Thought you said you had to leave very early due to having to catch a bus or whatever it was? You know, your bus was last bus and gonna leave you and you would be stuck? And how you were scared like a little girl to talk to the men players? Etc etc? If leaving this early, how could you know what the seats looked like at night time when everyone is up and about? Just curious J?

Yeah, but at the time that I was there, there was a match going on, on the TV table (I assumed that it was a finals match, because the main ref was there reffing the match, and he was making an announcement before the match started) and I think it was Tony Chohan VS Shannon Daulton. Anyways, it was in the VIP section (with the curtains closed off to other parts of the room), that I could not get into. I do not know what game they were playing, but I assumed it was either Banks or One Pocket. It sounded like a finals match to me though, but maybe it may have been semi finals? Why else would the main ref (I forget his name, but he is the same guy who commentates on the US Open matches, and probably many others too, and I also remember he has been the ref at the Mosconi Cup). Anyways, I just assumed it was a finals match. It was maybe around 4 hours after I got there (maybe at around 2pm). It appeared that there was 2 tournaments going on at the same time (I seen 9 ball being played, and I also seen 1 pocket being played) . So, I guess it could not have possibly been the finals of the 1 pocket going on on the TV table, but the main ref was reffing it, and he did announce the players for that match before the match started. I so regret not staying much later into the night, and then just getting a taxi back into Louisville, lol. I felt very out of place though (around all of those pro's walking around everywhere). It was an amazing experience. Anyways, the VIP section did seem kind of dead for a finals match, so maybe it was not actually a finals match (seemed like it to me though).

Lol, I get that feeling that you just think I am a big liar. Yeah, I was in awe of my favorite pro pool players (seeing them in person for the 1st time), and too shy to go say hi to them (or anything). I honestly felt very out of place there. I was alone, and I did not run into 1 single person that I knew. I thought that maybe I would run into some of the players I knew from the past, but I guess I just was not there long enough (arrived at around 10 am, and left at around 4pm I think). I really had a nice time though, in those 6 hours. I did not have the nerve to meet any of my favorite players, but I talked to a few nice people (like the brother of the owner of Diamond tables, who was sitting at the entrance, and checking everyones passes). He was really cool. And I talked to a few nice dealers, and got to see a lot of nice cues. Anyways, I imagined that was a finals match going on, because the main ref was there to announce the players before the match, and the match was being held in the VIP seating area (that I could not get into). Why would the main ref be reffing a match, and announcing the players before the match (that was located on the TV table, in the VIP seating area), if it were not the finals? I do not know though. It was early in the day (maybe around 2pm), so kind of early for a finals match I guess.
 
I sent an e-mail twice to the info@dcctickets.com and they have not responded, including one just 2 days ago. That combined with all the old information on the website and I think the professionalism could be ratcheted up a bit here.

Last year, after a bit of a foopa with their CC system, they went on sale mid-October. So I would guess this coming week looks good. If you *really* want to be sure, call Diamond, Monday morning.

The event is three months away and they don't keep the DCC thing running 365, so give them a break and a chance to fire the system back up.

Wed., 1/27/2016 c. 12:30 - 1:00 pm eastern time -- Tony Chohan defeated Shannon Daulton 3-2 in the 6th round (8 rounds before the finals) of the 1-Pocket event. Scott Smith was the ref.

No bro, not saying liar just what I know of finals times and what you said about your experience there didn't match up. I made the little girl comment ; admittedly a little harsh, because of what you keep on saying about being scared. They are just men like me and you ( I'd guess ) and if nothing else you need to realize, no matter how crappie it is said to be, they owe their profession to us the fans. So if not for a dozen other reasons, that one alone should give you confidence enough to at least say hi lol.
