Destroyed Cuetec Cynergy

So I take my cynergy shaft to my nearest Cuetec dealer in attempt to have the tip changed to a Kamui. I call three times prior to ensure they do this type of service for carbon shafts, each time receiving the same response, “yes we do!” I put down a few racks while waiting and the “cuesmith” comes out and begins to look at a cynergy pamphlet. Long story short he destroyed my ferrule. Someone help!!! Imperial just refers me to a specialist’s voicemail.

Since your Cynergy probably came with a Sniper tip, he could have left the red pad on and installed the new tip on the same pad. I’ve done this several times on mine as I wanted to try super soft, soft and medium tips on the Cynergy cue. If properly installed, the new tip would be good to go. BTW, a Triangle tip seems to feel best for me.

I was kinda hoping for a picture of an exploded CF shaft. Like someone went to break with it and it just flew apart. Reality was a bit “underwhelming”

Well, since we're not going to get any action here from the OP, someone post some destroyed CF shafts ...

Well if the repairman can screw up a ferrule on a Cynergy I wouldn’t take any cue to him for work.
Ferrule tip end no different than working on a wood shaft.

Any accident can happen but these are more forgiving than say a Revo.

No call out on the repair center???? We need to know who it is to avoid

Might have to" "resort to carbon bike part failures. There's a lotta them and they are far more dramatic than pool cues.
