A big deal over there.

Any of our European friends happen to know the dates for the 2016 1pocket event? I tried an email to the website a couple of months ago without a response.

Lou, try to pm AZer named plague. That's Alex Lely himself and he is the one to know for sure. I assume it's a bit early for the next year's event but as long as you are in contact with Alex you are supposed to be informed.

I should have thought of that, Vahmurka. A while back when I mentioned that I might be over thataway next year Alex cordially invited me to beer and pool at Plan B in Amsterdam :-)

I have plans to play there also next year but will be seen later. Would be great to meet you Lou. AzB meeting in 2016 Deurne? :thumbup:

It'd be great meeting you too, Mikko, after all these years.

Right now Gail and I are kicking things around for a 30th anniversary trip. We were talking about Amsterdam when I saw the poster for Deurne. I said to Gail, "Wouldn't that be a hoot. We go all the way to the Netherlands and I drag you to a 1pocket tournament." Gail, who is my biggest supporter in all things pool, said, "That's be great! You can pack your 3-piece travel cue."

So it may happen if the stars line up right.
