I live in KY and the trend seems that the 7' Diamond is the table of choice. Are 7' tables going to take over the market? My eyesight isn't what it used to be so the 7' is better for me. I wonder how the ITP match last night would have looked on a 7' table?

No. Anything smaller is like playing on a kid-sized table, and Rodney and Manolo would have towered over something like a 7'. I will always prefer 9' tables to any other size table.
Unless it's a snooker table, in which case I prefer 12'

Having recently attended the reno Bar Table Championship, i must say many players found the smaller table to be a real challenge with the 860 cloth. Alot of clusters many, many more scratches. All in all the think the serious players still prefer the 9'. I will say that if you do play on a 7" nothing plays better than a Diamond. It wasnt a real big issue with 9 ball and 10 ball , but 8 ball, 16 balls on the table looks like ants on a sugar cube. 3 ball is a great game for the 7'.cubc said:
