I am considering purchasing a diamond table, any problem with putting on a floor with thick carpet?
 
You shouldn't have any real problems. You'll probably have to have it adjusted after letting it settle for at least 30 days though.
 
I"m sure it will settle in after a bit, it weighs about 1200lbs. Did you ever consider changing the carpet to something commercial grade with a firm pad underneath. Once you put the table in, your not going to want to change the carpet for a while. JMHO
