Diamond "Bi-Level" leather pockets

Years ago I did a lot of league-play on 9 ft Diamond Pro tables and have always wondered what Diamond means when they advertise "bi-level" leather pockets. I love the design of the Pro and Pro-Am pockets and wood surrounds and feel there is no better pocket system in the industry.

What it means is that the back of the pocket liner is higher in the center than on the sides...that way when a ball is shot into a pocket it hits below tbe lip of tbe back of the pocket on is deflected downward...instead of straight back out of the pocket and back on the table.
 
I get it now... thank you! I wonder why I never asked the question before. If only my Anniversary table's pockets were as slick as Diamond's.
