You coming to Lex Lou? I don't know what their posted hours are, but they used to be open for lunch and now they aren't. I believe they open around 2-2:30pm and stay open until 2 or 3 in the morning. The number is (859) 317-9513.
Let me know if you want to get together and play some. I have a table at the house also or can meet at DBP. I like meeting AZers.
There's the possibility I would be there for a few days in about three or four weeks, but my schedule would be such that I would only be able to play early. Like an 11-4pm window. I was kind of excited about this place because I'd read that they opened at 1030am and had several 9 foot Diamonds. So that's what I was trying to confirm. But if they're not opening until late afternoon it's a non-starter. I like meeting AZers too -- so if I do head thataway and you're available during the morning/early afternoon, we could get together.

Lexington is such a nice place to live. I moved there in 1967 and was there for about 15 years. I was working in the Engrineering Labs of IBM. People there are so nice and friendly. Had a 9 foot 1928 Brunswick table down in the basement. Brings back a lot of great memories.
Did you know a man named Wallace (Wally) Cook at IBM?

I just returned from the Diamond Billiard Pub. Pretty good pool hall with a good atmosphere. I think that they open up at 2 pm, so you may factor that into your planning. I'd be up for a friendly game as well.

I like to play the main room, not the cocktail lounge. Once the thread was moved to the "cafe" I lost the will to live. Steve obviously wants the thread to die out anyway (one of the most popular he's had -- go figure). Don't even check the site much, right about now.
And oh yeah: where's the treatise on strokes you promised me after the 14.1 event, eh? Send it and I will return to the fray.
