That table is worth less that a Gold Crown 4, IMO. It plays worse. It's a solid wood top (gets dinged). The grain is ugly (flatsawn oak cathedrals). It might even pre-date the diamond shim leveling system.

So no advantages of a modern diamond.

He’s actually correct about that old Red label. I consider them firewood myself.
