Diamond Bounce

Recently a post mentioned the 'Diamond Bounce'....What does that mean?

Red labels banked short and too fast. That would be my guess.

Diamonds have a reputation for being boingy in general, meaning very bouncy rails. Some truth to it, probably a lot to do with the fact cushions on other tables are often much older and have lost some bounce. When you are used to playing on older tables any new table except some cheap home tables seems very bouncy.

Even newer blue label Diamonds bank shorter than the Gold Crowns I am used to. Play Diamonds all of the time and the Gold Crown has "dead" cushions.

All in what you are used to.
