If the lights are the same color grade and same amount of lumens it should be the same.
The only difference will be less energy used, faster starting, no flicker, and no hum or buzz.
I would replace the whole fixture inside if posssible instead of just the tubes. I picked up a few 4 ft LED fixtures at Costco for $29. Sometime they are on sale for less. They were selling tubes for around $39 for 2 as fluorescent replacements. Didn't make any sense to buy them.
Those fixtures give a nice bright day light over the table.
I have looked into the conversion kits for around $80 per 8 foot light. So after $160 you could have a nice LED set up on the existing fluorescent runners. I am going to wait a while longer as they are doing some conversions at our shop and want to see how the electricians do it and what the finished product looks like.
