Hope someone can answer following questions:

Diamond Pro 9ft tables:

Do pros in tournaments play with 4.5 inch pockets or 4.25 pockets?
Is 4.25 pocket non standard and too hard to play on?

What's the normal rail on Diamond table K55 or K66?

If the slate is 3 piece is the table still Diamond Pro or is it Pro-Am?

What is the difference between Pro and Pro-AM?

I'm about to buy a used Diamond table and I'm not sure what is the standard configuration.

Thank you for help!

More than likely it is a "Pro Cut" table and has 4.5 inch corner pockets.

Diamond tables have K55 cushions. A 9 footer from the factory comes with Artemis brand rubber.

The slate does not determine "Pro" or "Pro-Am". Both tables, Professional and Pro-Am/Smart tables can have 1 or 3 piece slate.

Good luck with the new table. For your own sake, get someone that has experience with Diamond tables to move/set it up for you. You will be much happier in the end.

Thanks for the input, greatly appreciated. I live in Canada, but I have a mechanic who will instal the table.

I have found out that the 4.5 inch is at the entrance of the rail and then there is a 141 degree angle and the end is at 4.25 inches. The table that I was looking at is standard Diamond configuration in the Pro-cut configuration.

Interesting thing about the Artemis rubber is that the rails are called International 66 but the profile is K55, which seems to be creating confusion.

Cheers
