I have a friend with a 7 ft Diamond and his rails are ridiculously fast.
he wants to slow them down. Is there a way to slow them down without changing them?

Extremely springy rails??

Does anyone know what type of rails Diamond started using that causes them to be so springy??? It is rediculous!!! Its not even real pool?? You just touch a rail and it goes crazy?? You can't even begin to let your stroke out?? Its like playing with a super ball??

I would like to know how to correct the problem?

Do I have to change rails completely?

I have not but shimms under rails yet but will try. 1/16 at a time...

What type of rails are they? My thought is that a 7 ft table with 860 Somonis on it stretched tight is plenty enough fast!!!
If Diamond puts them on 9 ft tables it wouldnt seem so bad because there is more room/space to make up for it.

Anyway I just want to make the 7 ft table play NORMAL!!

Heeelllpppp!!!

Anyone with good info please reply back asap. Thanks, Levi.

I'm no mechanic, but I'd like to see a video of some play on this table. Someone could possibly help you with a video.

By normal rails.....do you mean rails on a Valley with slow cloth?
