If you buy a Diamond with just the standard pockets, but wish to turn it into the pro cut can you just order a new set of rails that are that type of cut? Also, I heard that perhaps diamond will trade you the rails for a slight price difference maybe? Any feedback is much appreciated.

Some of the league pocket tables come with 1/8th inch facing. If this is the case all you need to do is use a thicker facing, and it will cost you under a $100. Your table should have serial numbers on the bottom side, Give Brian these numbers and he should know your set-up.
I was in the exact same position. I had a 15+ year old Diamond pro with big pockets and the older rubber. I took all 4 rails to the Diamond factory. Brian had his guys extend the subrails, replace the artemis cushions, cut the pockets to factory "pro cut" and recover the rails. The Rails/Pockets now plays like a brand new Pro Am/Pro that you would see at the Derby.
Brian far exceeded my expectations and the table turned out showroom perfect.
