Diamond Table Review

We just bought a brand new Diamond Pro table for one pocket and I could not be happier. One piece slate. Rosewood epoxy rails. Quiet ball return.

Paul and his son from Diamond came out and delivered and set up our table.

I highly recommend this table from Diamond for any room owners. We had Brunswick tables as our number one table for years. I have liked Diamonds for years and I think I am converting some of the old hard core Brunswick fans. I wish I could add 4 more tables like this tomorrow. Thanks to Jordan for taking and editing the pic below.

Two of the rooms that I frequent are slowly making the transition to Diamond, and to raving reviews as well. I, for one, am not such a particular fan of them, I think the rails are slightly funky and I've never been big on ball return pockets.

Everyone seems to like them though. Every one here in Las Vegas has real tight pockets which is nice. I can see where people would really like them, I just can't seem to be of the same opinion though. :)

Very nice looking table.
Have been hoping that future will include a room large enough for a table and that table as it is shown would be the way I would set it up as well. Very nice looking wood and the cloth looks great.

Thanks for the picture that I will reference in the future.

Different rails

The Diamond rep told me that Diamond Pro tables have a different rubber profile than what most are used to. They use a billiard table profile which has a blunter profile. This allows more rubber (and cloth) to contact the ball when it hits the rail. More contact means more English will take during the rebound resulting in a different bank than most people are used to. Hope I am explaining this correctly. It is K55 profile Artemis rubber I think he said. I am sure others could be more exact than me in this description. Just relaying what I was told. :)

I'm putting 14 9 foot pro am's and 8 7 foot smart table's in the room I am opening.. I think they are the best table's on the market..

I Really Wish I lived in town By myself and brought in atleast 65k a year.
I better start crackin' them books harder.

There's only 7 Diamond 9ft's in rooms here in Vegas, 2 at Pool Sharks, 5 at Mickey's, they all have the pro pocket openings, and they are the ProAms which naturally have a ball return system built into them. You must be use to playing on the rest of the crap here in Vegas, so I can see that you'd have a hard time making the switch to the Diamonds. :D but, keep playing, I'm sure you'll do just fine:confused:

Open the Billiards Hall with 3 Diamonds

I just recently opened Break Time Billiards, what a hit, these Diamonds are GREAT! I bought two Pro Ams and the third Predator that has tournament cut pockets. Sweet! And the place is turning a pretty good return each night. See www.breaktimebilliards.us
